I’m sure all you make-up lovers out there will agree with me that being obsessed with all things beauty can be a seriously expensive hobby. But what’s a girl to do when she won’t settle for anything less than a flawless appearance? While we all crave those cult classics, there’s actually some pretty fantastic dupes on the high street that will keep your bank balance happy without compromising on the quality. So, your make-up collection can continue to grow and those extra pounds you’ve save, well, we both know you’re going to invest that in even more make-up!
Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer
Praised by all beauty bloggers and coveted by make-up addicts alike, the Conceal & Define Concealer from Revolution came onto the beauty scene and turned heads with its pretty impressive 18-colour shade range, from fair to deep, in cool, neutral and warm undertones. Boasting a large doe foot applicator the product was quickly crowned a dupe to Tarte’s Shape Tape and offers long wearing intense pigment that can be used to conceal, define and contour.
Luna Glow Kit
The Anastasia Beverly Hills glow kits certainly have that classic cult status, however, once again Primark have managed to create another fantastic dupe. Whether you want cool, or warm tones, there’s a palette to suit whatever look you want to create. Plus, for £5 the pan-size is very generous and the glow it creates – wowzers!
Matte Collection Lip Kits
It seems like all make-up brands are launching their own version of the Kylie Jenner lip kit, but for £3 Primark’s lip kits don’t disappoint. Available in matte, gloss, metallic and holographic, each kit comes with a lip gloss and lip liner (except from the holographic kits which also comes with glitter.) The liners and creamy and long lasting and the lip products themselves are surprisingly pigmented!
The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer
While I’m still not completely 100% convinced that the Mary-Lou Manizer is an exact dupe of the BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector, as they are both cult favourties, the Balm highlighter is definitely more purse-friendly. If you’re all about that glow (and who isn’t?), then the Mary-Lou Manizer is a gorgeous shimmer that catches everyone’s attention.
Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Liner
I personally know how hard it is to find a eyeliner that’s easy to apply and is super black, and the Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Liner ticks both of those boxes. Although the Kat Von D eyeliners are known as holy grail products, you seriously can’t complain for the £5.99 Maybelline price tag!
Scents – For Him & For Her
Every beauty lover knows no look is complete without a spritz of aftershave, or perfume, and on the high street the best dupes are the scents from Next. That’s right, the scents from Next smell very similar to some luxury, high end aftershaves and perfumes, however, these ones are super affordable, long lasting and available in a huge selection for both him and her. Plus, watch out for the gift sets, as you can receive a shower gel, as well as the scent, for the same price as the scent on its own – what a bargain!
Scents For The Home
Since these scents hit the shelves you’ve all been going crazy for them – I’m talking about the Jo Malone dupes from Primark. From room sprays to candles, it seems Primark is nailing cult classics here, there and everywhere. What will they launch next? Seriously though, there’s a reason these are hard to get your hands on and that’s because they’re brilliant. If you see them – grab them quick!
