PASTA FACTORY LAUNCHES IN SUNDERLAND…
A TASTE of Italy has arrived in Sunderland city centre – thanks to a unique eatery which will offer authentic, Latin cuisine.
The Pasta Factory is opening its doors at the city’s Market Place, opposite Bon Marche, with a menu packed full of favourites from handmade pastas to sandwiches served in artisan breads.
Customers will be able to choose from a whole range of fresh pastas in different shapes and flavours and can add the sauce of their choice to take away or eat inside.
And along with the more traditional pastas, the deli will also offer a range of speciality options including squid ink, basil and even lemon pasta.
Authentic pasta making equipment has been brought in from Italy and all the dishes will be made on the premises, as well as Sicilian-style pizza which is cooked in Sicilian olive oil for a crispier base.
Classic Italian dishes including lasagne and gnocchi will also be on offer and the deli will sell a range of products for people to use at home.
The Pasta Factory will be open from 7am to 7pm seven days a week.
