ALL THINGS BEAUTIFUL AT THE BRIDGES…

MINI makeovers, tips on body confidence, competitions and discounts are all adding up to a beautiful event at Sunderland’s the Bridges.

From 1 – 6 July the shopping centre is hosting its first-ever Beauty Week, designed to appeal to shoppers of all ages.

Throughout the week the centre will be holding competitions and tips and tricks demos, with the opportunity to engage with some of the many leading brands available in the centre in stores such as Boots and Debenhams.

And every shopper who spends £20 or more on beauty products during the week can take their receipts to the Bridges’ customer service desk to claim a mystery prize.

The Beauty Week will culminate in a day full of activity on Saturday 6 July, where the Bridges has drafted in a whole host of experts to share their insider knowledge with shoppers in four VIP sessions.

with each session starting off with Prosecco and nibbles.

Two of the 45-minute sessions will be led by celebrity make-up artist Amanda Bell, who has worked on events such as the BAFTAs and London Fashion Week, who will run an ageless elegance masterclass and an essentials makeup masterclass.

Instagram sensation Laura Ferry, who has thousands of followers of What Laura Loves on social media, will also be hosting a workshop on summer style ideas and body positivity.

The final session will be revealed soon, with all the sessions being held at Central Square in the Bridges.

Plans are also underway for special activities during late night shopping on Thursday 4 July, which will also be confirmed in the coming weeks.

“We’ve designed an amazing programme which should appeal to shoppers of all ages,” said Naomi Osborne, marketing and communications co-ordinator at the Bridges.

“It’s a great opportunity to get the must-have products for the summer along with getting some top tips from a range of experts who work in the beauty industry.”
